Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8+ years of professional software development experience.
- Deep expertise in Java and Spring Boot.
- Experience with distributed back-end systems and cloud-native architecture (ideally AWS).
- Experience designing and operating SaaS or multi-tenant platforms.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and SOLID principles.
- Experience with agentic-AI software development and responsible use of AI-assisted tools.
- Experience designing and consuming HTTP APIs (REST, GraphQL).
- Proven experience mentoring developers and influencing architectural decisions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Create architecture, prototypes, and design proposals aligning with product and platform vision.
- Influence technical direction through architecture reviews, RFCs, and collaborative design discussions.
- Partner with senior developers and architects to define and execute the platform architecture roadmap.
- Balance delivery speed, maintainability, and long-term platform health during technical decision-making.
- Champion proposals through the full SDLC, including CI/CD and production implementation.
- Troubleshoot production issues and drive platform reliability, observability, and incident response.
- Mentor developers through design reviews, AI-assisted coding sessions, and feedback on engineering practices.
- Lead the rollout and refinement of AI-assisted workflows and tooling within the engineering team.
