Requirements
- 7+ years in software engineering with a track record of building scalable systems.
- 3+ years as an Engineering Manager or Tech Lead Manager managing distributed teams.
- Deep, hands-on experience with Java, Python, or Node.js.
- Solid experience in Cloud-native, Microservices, and API design.
- Experience managing C-level or VP-level stakeholders in a consulting or digital transformation environment.
- Fluent English (written and spoken) mandatory.
- Ability to conduct deep-dive code reviews and defend technical trade-offs.
- Strong technical leadership with experience in high-pressure delivery cycles.
Responsibilities
- Architectural Oversight: Maintain hands-on depth to challenge proposals, audit decisions, and address technical blockers.
- Standards Enforcement: Define and enforce engineering standards and high-performance delivery cadences.
- Modernization: Drive adoption of cloud-native, microservices, and API-first architectures.
- SDLC Ownership: Manage the Software Development Life Cycle from planning to incident response.
- Resource & Budget Optimization: Manage capacity, velocity, and budgets across workstreams.
- Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify and resolve technical or delivery risks.
- Performance Leadership: Lead, mentor, and grow distributed teams of 8–15 engineers.
- Strategic Client Partnership: Act as technical point of contact for CTOs and VPs, translating business goals into engineering priorities.
