Requirements
- Strong experience designing, developing, and implementing Transaction Monitoring scenarios within Quantexa.
- Proven experience as a Scenario Engineer, Detection Engineer, or Financial Crime Technology Consultant.
- Hands-on Python development experience for data analysis, testing, and performance validation.
- Strong SQL skills for analyzing large transactional datasets.
- Experience developing and tuning detection rules, risk scoring, and segmentation frameworks.
- Experience conducting back-testing, threshold analysis, and scenario effectiveness assessments.
- Deep understanding of Financial Crime controls, AML typologies, and regulatory expectations.
- Experience working with complex data models and data integration processes.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience within Banking, Financial Services, or Payments environments.
Responsibilities
- Design, configure, develop, and enhance Transaction Monitoring scenarios within the Quantexa platform.
- Engineer and implement risk-based detection rules, thresholds, scoring methodologies, and segmentation frameworks.
- Perform hands-on scenario testing and analysis using Python and SQL to evaluate effectiveness.
- Conduct back-testing, forward-testing, threshold calibration, and sensitivity analysis.
- Build analysis, validation, and testing frameworks to support performance monitoring.
- Analyse large data sets to identify trends, anomalies, and monitoring gaps.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering teams to map and validate data requirements.
- Contribute to model governance activities, including documentation and audit support.
