Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in biomedical sciences, life sciences, computer science or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in clinical data management or a related role within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device industries.
- 6-8 years of line management experience including recruitment, career development, and performance reviews.
- Expert knowledge of clinical data management best practices and technologies.
- Advanced understanding of clinical trial processes and protocol documents.
- Strong project management skills, including operational and budget oversight.
- Expert independent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all departmental operations comply with regulations, GCP, and sponsor requirements.
- Provide line management for the assigned management team, including objective setting and career development.
- Contribute to departmental strategic management and resource planning.
- Monitor departmental quality, identify trends, and implement strategic solutions.
- Manage project deliverables and oversee project profitability/budgeting.
- Represent the department to internal and external stakeholders for strategic planning and risk mitigation.
- Lead the development and implementation of new process improvement initiatives.
