Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- 4-6 years of experience in financial aid administration.
- In-depth knowledge of Title IV regulations.
- Proven experience with Financial Aid Management System implementation, customization, configuration, or testing.
- Direct experience with PowerFAIDS (required and essential).
- Ability to perform Title IV research using resources such as the Federal Student Aid Handbook.
- Experience designing and documenting processes using flow charts or procedure documents.
- Excellent verbal communication skills with strong writing, editing, and grammar abilities.
- Ability to complete complex tasks on short deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead documentation efforts for system functionality, workflows, and business rules.
- Draft high-quality user stories and acceptance criteria based on stakeholder input.
- Maintain organized and prioritized product backlogs in collaboration with product leads.
- Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate product functionality and user experience.
- Serve as a backup for product leads to ensure continuity during absences or high-volume periods.
- Synthesize insights from customer meetings and feedback to inform product requirements and priorities.
