Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of professional experience in software engineering, data science, or machine learning engineering.
- Production experience with LLMs including prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and RAG architectures.
- Strong programming proficiency in Python and experience with AI/ML frameworks like LangChain or LlamaIndex.
- Hands-on experience with vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate, or Qdrant.
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and containerized deployment (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience designing data pipelines and processing systems for unstructured content at scale.
- Proficiency in AI-assisted software development tools like Cursor or GitHub Copilot.
- Demonstrated interest or experience in legal, compliance, or regulatory technology domains.
- Ability to travel 10-25% for meetings and conferences.
Responsibilities
- Partner with legal and compliance stakeholders to identify and deliver automated workflow solutions.
- Architect end-to-end AI applications for contract review, legal research, and regulatory analysis.
- Develop and optimize scalable document processing pipelines for parsing, embedding, and indexing.
- Write production-grade code using Python, TypeScript, and orchestration frameworks like LangChain or LlamaIndex.
- Design and implement automated evaluation frameworks to ensure output accuracy and defensibility.
- Embed governance, security controls, and data residency compliance into all AI solutions.
- Lead and mentor legal team members on no-code AI solutions and serve as a technical bridge.
