Requirements
- Licensed clinician with an MD, DO, NP, RD, or PharmD qualification.
- 8+ years of clinical experience, including 3+ years in a clinical leadership position.
- Experience within digital health, health-tech, or value-based care.
- Deep clinical expertise across cardiometabolic conditions (hypertension, pre-diabetes, diabetes, obesity, and GLP-1).
- Proven experience owning a clinical outcomes framework and connecting outcomes to commercial value.
- Experience partnering with product and engineering teams to translate clinical requirements into AI behavior.
- Strong understanding of clinical guardrails, safety requirements, and governance for AI-driven healthcare.
- Excellent writing and narrative-building skills to develop high-quality clinical and commercial materials.
- Demonstrated AI fluency with practical experience using AI tools for productivity or product development.
- Experience serving as an external clinical voice for a healthcare product.
- Ability to operate in ambiguous, fast-moving environments and build processes from an early stage.
Responsibilities
- Establish clinical validation standards for new features, workflows, and AI-supported experiences.
- Provide clinical leadership throughout product development, calibrating rigor based on feature risk.
- Partner with Product and AI teams to establish clinical guidelines, guardrails, and escalation pathways.
- Translate clinical insights from member and clinician feedback into program, protocol, and product improvements.
- Define intended clinical roles, therapeutic boundaries, and prohibited behaviors for AI-driven experiences.
- Develop clinical evaluation rubrics, acceptance criteria, and annotation requirements.
- Serve as an external clinical spokesperson for customers, health plans, and clinical audiences.
- Author whitepapers, evidence narratives, and clinical materials for external scrutiny.
