Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of IT experience, with at least 5 years focused on quantum computing and cryptography.
- Strong expertise in quantum mechanics, information theory, and quantum algorithms (Shor’s and Grover’s).
- Hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks such as Qiskit, Cirq, Quipper, and Microsoft Quantum Development Kit.
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and Java for implementation and analysis.
- Deep knowledge of cryptographic protocols (RSA, AES, PKI, digital signatures, and key management).
- Expertise in post-quantum cryptography and NIST standards including FIPS 203, 204, and 205.
- Experience assessing cryptographic posture and developing actionable modernization roadmaps.
- Ability to communicate complex cybersecurity risks to non-technical audiences.
- Understanding of configuration management and project lifecycles within large organizations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assess enterprise cryptographic environments and identify vulnerabilities to quantum-enabled threats.
- Develop and maintain an enterprise-wide cryptographic inventory and migration plan.
- Provide technical guidance for PQC modernization aligned with NIST standards like FIPS 203, 204, and 205.
- Design crypto-agile architectures that allow technologies to evolve as standards change.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, security teams, and government stakeholders to drive secure transformation.
- Conduct technical analysis, prototyping, and simulation using classical and quantum tools.
- Translate complex quantum and cryptographic risks into business implications for leadership.
