Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Management Information Systems, GIS, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years' experience applying AI tools (large language models, process automation, or similar) to real business workflows.
- Basic coding or scripting ability (e.g., Python, JavaScript, SQL, Power Automate/Power Apps).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) and ArcGIS.
- Strong process-mapping and workflow-design skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and explain technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to manage multiple projects.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to travel up to 50%.
- Experience with Maptek Vulcan or similar mine planning/geological modeling software (preferred).
- Prior experience in a startup, consulting group, or resource company (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Embed with Operations, Commercial, Characterization, Lab, and Permitting teams to understand workflows and operational pain points.
- Define and document standardized workflows for resource identification, site tracking, and back-of-house operations.
- Configure, customize, and administer company platforms to create unified workflows from site identification to reporting.
- Build and maintain tools for ArcGIS, including dashboards and automated spatial workflows.
- Design and build lightweight AI-powered tools and automations using scripts, Power Automate, or custom applications.
- Translate manual or ad hoc processes into repeatable, trackable systems in partnership with Commercial and Characterization teams.
- Train and support staff on new tools to ensure adoption.
- Maintain clear documentation of workflows, tools, and system configurations for scalability.
- Evaluate and pilot new AI, GIS, and business-system technologies.
