Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in SRE, Systems, or Infrastructure Engineering managing mission-critical distributed systems.
- Deep, hands-on experience engineering and operating large-scale, distributed data systems.
- Practical experience with modern NoSQL databases (Cassandra or MongoDB preferred).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, or Java.
- Strong foundation in Linux/Unix administration and low-level system troubleshooting.
- Experience analyzing metrics and troubleshooting complex data integrity issues.
- Demonstrated ability to write high-quality automation and internal tooling.
- Strong root cause analysis skills for complex, large-scale production environments.
Responsibilities
- Engineer and maintain the reliability and performance of massive scale data platforms.
- Ensure data integrity, availability, and low-latency performance within large-scale distributed databases.
- Act as the highest technical escalation point for critical reliability and performance investigations.
- Design and implement observability frameworks using tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
- Develop high-quality automation and internal tooling using Python, Go, or Java.
- Partner with Engineering, Product, and Network teams to influence architecture and resolve systemic weaknesses.
