Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Credit Risk, Fraud Risk, or Collections (3+ years with an advanced degree may be considered).
- Expert SQL skills are required.
- Proficiency in Python or PySpark is preferred.
- Proven experience as a risk or data analyst, ideally within the finance or lending industry.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or PowerBI is a plus.
- Ability to adapt communication for different audiences.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Growth mindset with eagerness to apply AI tools to streamline workflows.
- Experience engaging senior stakeholders at key decision points.
Responsibilities
- Lead analytics on initiatives to improve short and long-term repayment rates and optimize collection costs.
- Develop insights capabilities to monitor performance and proactively identify trends, anomalies, and emerging risks.
- Identify optimization opportunities in external debt collections strategy and monitor vendor/agency performance.
- Maintain end-to-end ownership of analytics and collaborate in a cross-functional environment.
- Partner with key stakeholders across the organization to drive high-visibility strategic initiatives.
- Identify and drive opportunities to leverage AI to improve collections decision-making and automate insights.
