Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in healthcare client management, healthcare consulting, provider contracting, or healthcare operations.
- 2+ years of experience in provider network strategy development and contract negotiation.
- 1+ years of experience in financial analysis for markets or product lines.
- 1+ years of experience in navigating and organizing large datasets such as claim files and provider rosters.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time for client meetings, team meetings, and company events.
- Must reside in Illinois, Kansas, Michigan, or Ohio.
- Associate's degree or equivalent professional experience.
Responsibilities
- Implement contracting strategies to align with network adequacy, development, and cost management objectives.
- Negotiate contracts with healthcare providers to secure favorable terms and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Perform comprehensive reviews and financial analyses of provider contracts to identify optimization opportunities.
- Utilize data on provider performance and competitor strategies to inform contracting decisions.
- Mentor junior team members and provide training on contracting policies and workflows.
- Monitor network compliance and develop corrective action plans as needed.
- Collaborate with provider services teams for network education and communication.
