Requirements
- Ability to read and interpret financial systems documentation, interface specifications, and data flow diagrams.
- Experience assessing or documenting ERP/financial systems (Oracle EBS or similar).
- Strong written communication skills for technical documentation.
- Demonstrated analytical skills for Total Cost of Ownership baselining or systems inventory work.
- Experience with federal financial systems modernization efforts.
- Hands-on experience operating under FISMA or FITARA in a systems modernization context.
- Ability to pass a federal background check.
- Public Trust/Suitability determination.
Responsibilities
- Support current-state assessment of financial systems, feeder systems (procurement, travel, payroll, asset, grants), interfaces, and data flows.
- Contribute to system inventory documentation and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) baselining for agency applications.
- Document manual processes, workarounds, pain points, risks, and audit findings related to systems and reporting.
- Support future-state design recommendations tied to modernization and automation opportunities.
- Provide technical/systems input into Analyses of Alternatives for proposed solutions.
- Coordinate with IT/technical teams on interface specifications and data flow documentation.
