Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong C# and .NET skills with experience working in existing codebases.
- Solid experience with a modern SPA framework and TypeScript (Angular preferred).
- Comfortable with HTML/CSS and utility-first approaches like Tailwind.
- Proven experience building and consuming RESTful web services in the cloud (Azure preferred).
- Ability to reason about numerical correctness, verify calculated results, and handle tolerances.
- Working knowledge of schema design and query optimization for relational or document databases.
- Excellent written English communication skills.
- Ability to defend designs, conduct code reviews, and explain technical tradeoffs to business stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Design and build features end-to-end using C# APIs, Azure Functions, Angular, and TypeScript.
- Maintain and extend financial calculation engines.
- Build new UI and establish scalable frontend patterns.
- Extend and debug event-driven Azure architecture including Service Bus, queue workers, and blob storage.
- Model and query data in MongoDB.
- Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- Monitor production environments using Azure Application Insights to diagnose and resolve defects.
- Use AI tools to explore code, scaffold features, and generate tests.
- Collaborate with business analysts to refine requirements.
- Provide second-level support for internal user issues.
