Requirements
- Strong proficiency in C++ and Python.
- Experience writing performance-critical code for constrained targets (e.g., DSP, NPU, GPU, or embedded SoC).
- Systems-level performance intuition including memory bandwidth and data movement.
- Ability to analyze profiles and identify performance bottlenecks at a cycle-level.
- High agency and independent problem-solving skills.
- Empirical and methodical approach to technical challenges.
- Comfort operating in ambiguous environments without established playbooks.
- Familiarity with or strong enthusiasm for agentic dev tooling (e.g., Claude Code, MCP) preferred.
- Prior background in FAE, Sales Engineering, FDE, or embedded/ML-systems preferred.
Responsibilities
- Convert active customer evaluations into committed design wins by achieving target latency and accuracy on the Chimera architecture.
- Port and optimize customer workloads, including architecting, adapting, and writing custom kernels.
- Work on-site and remotely with customer engineering teams to debug failures and guide model-architecture tradeoffs.
- Develop and codify reusable SDK skills, porting playbooks, and agentic content for future engagements.
- Build applications and benchmark collateral to support ongoing customer evaluations.
- Collaborate with internal engineering and product teams to share customer insights and influence the technical roadmap.
