- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Technical Writing, Computer Science, or Information Technology.
- Four or more years of professional experience.
- Proven experience as a technical writer or in a similar role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in documentation tools including Microsoft Word, Visio, Jira, and Confluence.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Experience in the healthcare industry, particularly Medicare and Medicaid.
- Knowledge of Medicare and/or Medicaid fraud, waste, and abuse or program integrity work.
- Experience with data warehousing and metadata management.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Gather business requirements for data warehouse processes and applications by interviewing technical staff and SMEs.
- Schedule and conduct walkthroughs and business reviews to validate requirements.
- Identify, validate, and document metadata usage and data lineage.
- Map business process flows using Visio and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Leverage business and technical knowledge to conduct root cause analysis and document findings to drive defect resolution.
- Create and maintain information architecture based on SOW requirements.
- Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is audience-appropriate.
- Ensure the quality of all reports and deliverables under the contract.
