- Proficiency in Python, Perl, or shell scripting.
- Strong experience working with Linux or Unix-like operating systems.
- Solid understanding of networking protocols including TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, or TLS/SSL.
- Experience with version-control systems like Git/Stash or Perforce.
- Strong understanding of software testing principles and system-level quality engineering.
- Ability to analyze complex technical requirements and translate them into test strategies.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop and contribute to comprehensive system test plans.
- Design, develop, and deploy automated system tests for complex scenarios.
- Improve testing methodologies, frameworks, and procedures for better efficiency.
- Review product and system requirements to validate test strategies.
- Collaborate closely with software engineers and cross-functional teams.
- Investigate and troubleshoot technical challenges in distributed systems.
- Guide and mentor less experienced engineers.
- Research emerging testing technologies and infrastructure practices.
