Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Business, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience delivering analytics or business intelligence solutions in technology, mobile applications, or cybersecurity.
- Expert-level SQL proficiency and experience with complex relational datasets.
- Experience with AWS Athena or similar cloud-based analytical query engines.
- Advanced Tableau or equivalent BI platform experience.
- Strong understanding of relational databases and data modeling.
- Experience analyzing software product telemetry, application usage, or operational event data.
- Experience working with large-scale datasets in cloud environments.
- Ability to translate complex data into clear business insights and recommendations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain executive dashboards and operational reports using Tableau.
- Analyze business metrics, including revenue, customer growth, subscriptions, retention, and product adoption.
- Interpret mobile application telemetry, customer behavior, and security event data to monitor threats and trends.
- Partner with Finance, Sales, Customer Success, Product Management, Engineering, and Security teams to address analytical needs.
- Define and monitor KPIs while identifying opportunities for business and product improvement.
- Write efficient SQL queries in AWS Athena to extract and analyze large datasets from Amazon S3.
- Integrate data from multiple systems to develop robust reporting solutions and ensure data integrity.
- Document business rules, methodologies, and report definitions while automating recurring tasks.
