Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of project management experience, including IT or related business experience.
  • Experience working with project life cycle methodologies, including waterfall, agile, hybrid, and product/wave-based delivery models.
  • Experience influencing and managing cross-functional project teams without formal direct reporting relationships.
  • Knowledge of PMI-based project management competency areas.
  • Strong analytical skills for budgeting, forecasting, risk management, quality control, and reporting.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to translate between business and technical audiences.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, SharePoint, Teams).
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as Smartsheet and Jira.
  • High-Performance Mindset: Resilience, emotional intelligence, and a focus on agile delivery.
  • Technologist DNA: Understanding the difference between 'coding' and 'engineering'.

Responsibilities

  • Manage 3-5 small- to medium-scale Sales technology projects from planning to completion.
  • Facilitate working sessions, build and maintain project plans, manage schedules and resource forecasts, track deliverables, and escalate issues.
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Pricing, Finance, IT, and field stakeholders to clarify scope, success metrics, and dependencies.
  • Translate business needs into actionable delivery plans for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Manage project financials by building forecasts, tracking actuals, and communicating budget impacts to leadership.
  • Coordinate assigned project resources, facilitate meetings, and follow up on action items.
  • Manage project risks, issues, and assumptions by identifying trigger events and documenting mitigation plans.
  • Support vendor oversight by tracking contractual deliverables and coordinating RFI/RFP activities.
  • Adhere to enterprise project management practices, including maintaining artifacts and capturing lessons learned.
