Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Access.
- Strong project management and data analytics skills.
- Demonstrated advanced usage of AI for process and technological improvements.
- Ability to perform root cause analysis and develop actionable policy recommendations.
- Excellent persuasion and communication skills for influencing subject matter experts.
- Willingness and ability to travel to client sites and corporate office locations as needed.
Responsibilities
- Lead deep dive analysis on clinical and technical denials using analytics tools including parsed 835 data, Epic BDC records, Access, and SQL.
- Perform root cause analysis on denied accounts and extrapolate trends across large volumes of data for assigned facilities.
- Guide and influence subject matter experts through assessments of operations to develop policies, procedures, and tip sheets.
- Serve as a client-facing primary contact for revenue cycle-related denials issues.
- Lead monthly onsite denial prevention committee meetings with client leadership.
- Aggregate and provide strategic advisory perspectives to remedy process, system, and education issues impacting denials.
- Create training materials and lead training sessions for denial prevention staff and committee members.
