Requirements
- Production-level experience with Kubernetes and its surrounding ecosystems (e.g., Istio, Vault).
- Hands-on experience with managed and self-managed Kubernetes platforms.
- Proficiency with Terraform and general automation tooling.
- Experience with DevOps patterns such as compute, storage, database, and network management.
- Experience working within one or more major cloud providers: AWS, Google, or Azure.
- Strong methodical troubleshooting capabilities for complex technical issues.
- Willingness to participate in a low-volume pager rotation.
- Excellent communication skills for working in a remote-first, distributed team environment.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and extend foundational technologies to support highly available, distributed services.
- Design, implement, and operate large-scale, multi-cloud Kubernetes infrastructure.
- Utilize GitOps methodologies to automate and refine operational processes.
- Participate in a low-volume pager rotation as a subject matter expert.
- Collaborate across multiple engineering teams to implement solutions with respect and kindness.
