Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 6 years of relevant industry experience; senior-level experience is strongly preferred.
- Extensive hands-on experience developing Infrastructure-as-Code solutions, with 8+ years using Terraform preferred.
- Strong experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines using GitOps technologies (ArgoCD, FluxCD) and platforms (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
- Advanced knowledge of Kubernetes, service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd), and automated scaling solutions (Karpenter).
- Deep hands-on experience with AWS services including EKS, EC2, RDS, Lambda, Step Functions, VPC, and IAM.
- Strong scripting or programming capabilities in Python or Shell.
- Ability to design enterprise-scale cloud platforms with a focus on security, scalability, and performance.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities for complex technical challenges.
- Ability to translate high-level business objectives into technical strategies.
Responsibilities
- Build scalable, secure, and cost-effective AWS environments using Terraform.
- Design enterprise-grade cloud solutions including service mesh and sidecar architectures.
- Develop and enhance advanced CI/CD pipelines using GitOps tools such as ArgoCD and FluxCD.
- Automate infrastructure maintenance including patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management.
- Optimize containerized platforms using Kubernetes and automated scaling solutions like Karpenter.
- Partner with architects, software engineers, and security teams to translate business needs into infrastructure solutions.
- Evaluate new technologies and contribute to cloud strategy and engineering practices.
