Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Translation and Interpretation or a related field.
- Native or near-native proficiency in Marathi, with excellent command of the language in written and spoken contexts.
- Fluent English with the ability to accurately listen, understand, and write English content.
- Strong command of Marathi grammar, linguistic theory, language structure, spelling, and written communication.
- Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, follow detailed instructions, and consistently deliver accurate work.
- Good computer literacy and confidence using online platforms.
- Computer with at least 4 GB RAM running Windows 10+ or macOS 13+.
- Reliable internet connection, headphones, microphone, and webcam.
- Access to an Android mobile phone for audio-collection projects.
Responsibilities
- Perform linguistic tasks including categorization, annotation, correction, transcription, evaluation, localization, validation, and content creation.
- Review and validate audio, video, image, sentence, word, and other language data according to project-specific guidelines.
- Produce accurate Marathi translations, transcriptions, and written content with excellent spelling, grammar, and linguistic consistency.
- Participate in conversational interactions and voice-recording activities when required by specific projects.
- Apply knowledge of linguistic theory, grammar, syntax, and language structure to ensure high-quality outputs.
- Carefully identify and correct linguistic errors, inconsistencies, ambiguities, and formatting issues.
- Follow project instructions, quality standards, and deadlines while maintaining accuracy and consistency across assigned tasks.
- Complete mandatory qualification or project-specific assessments required before participating in assignments.
