Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Translation from a recognized institution or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional translation experience.
- Strong communication skills in English and French.
- Knowledge of financial markets and terminology.
- Proficiency with machine translation software, including GlobalLink.
- Strong organizational and self-management skills.
- Membership in a recognized professional association such as ATIO or OTTIAQ is an asset.
- Experience in the financial industry or related field is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide translation services for Fidelity Clearing Canada in accordance with industry regulations.
- Review and approve French material in consultation with the Team Manager.
- Negotiate timelines for translation projects with internal partners.
- Proofread translations done by external and internal resources to ensure adherence to standards.
- Conduct in-depth industry terminology research and maintain the internal glossary.
- Monitor French language trends to ensure content quality.
