Requirements
- BSEE degree with minimum 6 years of related electrical power field engineering and training experience.
- OR graduate of applicable electrical technical school, Master’s Electrician License, or military equivalent with minimum 8 years of related experience.
- Valid driver's license.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver formal public speaking presentations.
- Professional involvement with organizations such as IEEE or IAEI.
- Ability to work flexible hours, weekends, and travel for out-of-area assignments for up to several weeks.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, climb, balance, and lift at least 50 pounds.
- Proficiency in technical, teaching, and business knowledge.
- Ability to perform data collection, organization, and analysis to identify trends.
Responsibilities
- Perform internal and external technical training on the safe operation, maintenance, and testing of electrical power system equipment.
- Develop training content, manuals, instructional materials, and laboratory exercises.
- Manage training programs, including scheduling, curriculum updates, and resource allocation.
- Administer exams and evaluate trainee performance through written and practical reporting.
- Support sales and operations leaders in promoting external training and identifying client needs.
- Participate in meetings and seminars to gather relevant technical and industry information.
- Perform field maintenance and testing support as required.
