Requirements
- Doctoral degree in health sciences (MD, PhD, PharmD, or equivalent) required; significant oncology experience may be accepted in lieu of education.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Medical Science Liaison.
- Minimum 5+ years of solid tumor cancer experience, with a preference for GI, bladder, or renal cell tumors.
- Minimum 5+ years of clinical, scientific/research, or pharmaceutical industry experience.
- Ability to understand, analyze, and communicate complicated scientific concepts and data.
- Proven success building credible relationships with prominent HCPs.
- Strong skills in independent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytic planning.
- Must meet health care industry representative (HCIR) credentialing requirements for facility entry, including background checks, drug screens, and proof of immunization.
- Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience with electronic document management and review tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding, and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop, execute and maintain high impact territory plans with a focus on quality.
- Support clinical development and research initiatives, including site identification, recruitment, and investigator meetings.
- Identify and build customer-centric relationships with external Immuno-Oncology experts within the assigned geography.
- Provide education on disease states, the therapeutic landscape, and products to healthcare providers and researchers.
- Monitor and provide insights from scientific meetings to the internal team.
- Maintain self-education on market trends, product knowledge, and new therapeutic areas.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to execute account plans supporting shared scientific or business objectives.
