Requirements
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience including full-stack application development.
- Strong practical Python experience with FastAPI, Flask, Django, or similar frameworks.
- Hands-on experience developing frontend applications with TypeScript/JavaScript and React.
- Proven experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Hands-on experience developing cloud-native applications on AWS.
- Experience building distributed, event-driven systems using message queues or streaming platforms (e.g., SNS/SQS, EventBridge, Kafka, RabbitMQ).
- Proficiency with SQL (PostgreSQL preferred) and NoSQL databases (e.g., DynamoDB, MongoDB).
- Experience with Git, Docker, and CI/CD practices.
- Strong understanding of scalable software architecture and modern design principles.
- Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to maintain daily overlap with the US team until at least 1:00 PM Pacific Time.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Python and React.
- Develop cloud-native applications supporting patient registration, scheduling, provider workflows, clinical operations, and healthcare administration.
- Build RESTful APIs and event-driven microservices to support complex healthcare business processes.
- Implement integrations with third-party healthcare platforms and enterprise systems including Athenahealth and Salesforce.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Managers, Architects, and UX Designers across the software development lifecycle.
- Develop secure, HIPAA-compliant applications following modern healthcare security standards.
- Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and sprint planning.
- Support CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and infrastructure automation.
