Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in data integration, enterprise, or solution architecture.
- Experience assessing complex data environments with multiple source systems and external partners.
- Strong knowledge of API design, management, and integration patterns.
- Proficiency with ETL and ELT processes and technologies.
- Experience designing or assessing batch, real-time, and event-driven integrations.
- Experience documenting current-state architecture, interfaces, and data lineage.
- Experience evaluating cloud-based data platforms and modern analytics environments.
- Understanding of cloud data warehouses, data lakes, and lakehouses.
- Knowledge of identity and access management, RBAC, and data governance.
- Strong technical writing, analytical, and presentation skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural assessment of the current DRIVE/Vital IQ and replica environment.
- Facilitate technical discovery sessions with IDOH teams, system owners, and stakeholders.
- Document current-state architecture, data flows, interfaces, and system dependencies.
- Inventory upstream and downstream systems, APIs, batch jobs, and data exchanges.
- Analyze data transmission, access, sharing, and consumption across stakeholders.
- Evaluate modern analytics and data-platform options including Snowflake and Azure data services.
- Develop conceptual future-state architecture, modernization roadmaps, and cost estimates.
- Present technical findings and recommendations to executive stakeholders.
