- Excellent editing, grammar, and proofreading skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong written communication skills and the ability to deliver constructive feedback.
- Experience building relationships with online communities or creators.
- Understanding of BuzzFeed-style content.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Comfort working independently while collaborating across teams.
- Familiarity with CMS platforms and digital publishing workflows.
Responsibilities
- Edit submissions from the BuzzFeed Community Creator Program to meet editorial standards for quality, accuracy, and style.
- Partner directly with Community Creators by providing editorial feedback, coaching, and best practices.
- Foster an active, welcoming creator community by engaging with contributors in the Discord server.
- Moderate Community content and comments to maintain a positive, inclusive environment.
- Curate standout Community content by identifying posts with strong editorial or viral potential.
- Use traffic and engagement data to inform editorial decisions.
- Collaborate with Audience Development and Editorial teams on creator initiatives and publishing strategy.
