Requirements
- 3+ years of intensive mobile development experience
- 5+ apps shipped to the App Store or Google Play Store
- Proficiency in software architecture and relational data modeling
- Experience with agentic development workflows and reviewing AI-generated code
- Deep understanding of app lifecycle, backgrounding, and permission models
- Expertise in integrating REST and GraphQL APIs, including handling auth, token refresh, and pagination
- Familiarity with store submission processes, provisioning, signing, and review guidelines
- Working knowledge of Apple HIG and Material design conventions
- Ability to write native code for Swift and Kotlin bridges
- Experience securing apps and implementing backend access rules for services like Supabase or Firebase
- Ability to proactively identify and resolve failure modes like network errors and OS-specific UI issues
Responsibilities
- Build and ship cross-platform apps in Flutter and React Native, from spec through store release
- Own the release pipeline including builds, signing, TestFlight, Play Console submissions, and staged rollouts
- Wire apps to backends including auth flows, REST and GraphQL, offline caching, background sync, and push notifications
- Drop into native code using Swift and Kotlin bridges when the cross-platform layer is insufficient
- Use coding agents for development while ensuring rigorous review of all produced code
- Test on real devices, monitor crash reports, and resolve performance issues
- Configure Supabase or Firebase access rules and server routes
- Optimize app performance regarding cold start times, frame rates, bundle sizes, and battery drain
- Collaborate directly with product owners and designers
