Requirements
- Associate degree in a technical, biomedical, instrumentation, or electrical engineering field or equivalent military experience.
- High school diploma with 3 years of experience if no degree is held.
- 1-year experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, robotics, electronic equipment, and/or instrumentation.
- Ability to travel, 20% overnight, within the territory (Nebraska, North Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa).
- Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to lift, move, or carry equipment up to 50lb.
- Proficiency in business systems such as OBI, Salesforce, and SharePoint.
Responsibilities
- Complete troubleshooting, installation, validation, preventative maintenance, modifications, and service repair needs on Beckman Coulter equipment.
- Provide excellent and efficient service to Beckman Coulter’s customers.
- Deliver technical training on equipment to customers.
- Maintain accurate customer service logs and internal service records.
- Order repair parts and adhere to cycle times.
- Utilize internal business systems like OBI, Salesforce, and SharePoint.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external customers to address unique needs.
- Assist with the training of newer Field Service Engineers.
