Requirements
- 5+ years of professional full-stack development experience, including significant time owning production systems end-to-end.
- Strong backend proficiency with Node.js and Express, including REST API design, authentication, and API documentation.
- Strong front-end proficiency with modern JavaScript (ES6+), jQuery, and HTML5/CSS3.
- Knowledge of mobile-first responsive design and WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards.
- Hands-on experience with databases and data tooling, including MongoDB, SQLite, BigQuery, and ETL processes.
- Practical infrastructure and operations skills, including Linux administration, Nginx, PM2, SSL management, and Git.
- Experience refactoring and maintaining legacy codebases.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor other developers and lead through code review.
Responsibilities
- Own features and projects from requirements gathering through deployment and ongoing maintenance.
- Design, develop, and maintain production-grade REST APIs using Node.js and Express.
- Develop responsive, user-facing web applications using JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Integrate with databases including MongoDB, SQLite, and BigQuery and maintain Salesforce integrations.
- Administer Linux-based servers, Nginx, and manage Node.js applications using PM2.
- Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with TCPA, CCPA, and GDPR.
- Provide mentorship and code-review feedback to other developers on the team.
