Requirements
- Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to make sound assumptions from incomplete data.
- Demonstrated ability to productively direct AI agents, including designing prompts and review loops.
- Comfort with quantitative modeling and sanity-checking performance formulas.
- Strong organizational skills for building and maintaining large-scale tracking systems.
- Concise, effective written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation.
- A wargamer's mindset focused on simulation credibility and accuracy.
- Ability to act as an escalation point for technical calls and defend them to subject matter experts.
- Experience with game modding tools, editors, or simulation authoring environments is preferred.
- Experience partnering with engineering on test automation or QA tooling is preferred.
- Familiarity with military doctrine, force structure, or platform performance data is preferred.
- Experience with version control and bug-tracking systems is preferred.
- Experience mentoring, training, or setting technical standards is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead catalog strategy and prioritization across multiple service branches, nations, and eras.
- Research and codify governing principles and performance models for weapon, sensor, and survivability effects.
- Design and manage agentic AI workflows to handle research, data entry, and documentation at scale.
- Partner with Engineering to define requirements for workflow tools and automated testing.
- Lead ongoing Verification, Validation & accreditation (VV&A) for catalog segments.
- Organize and conduct competitive wargames to stress-test entities and parametric data.
- Author internal and external knowledge articles to document model logic and sourcing.
- Train and mentor other analysts on tradecraft, rubrics, and VV&A methods.
