Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Java, TypeScript, Go, Python, C#, or similar).
- Experience designing, developing, and maintaining APIs, services, and distributed systems.
- Experience working with databases and applying sound software architecture and testing practices.
- Proven ability to provide technical leadership and influence complex, cross-functional initiatives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively across remote and geographically dispersed teams.
- Ability to travel occasionally, up to 15%, based on business needs.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable software applications, services, APIs, and platform capabilities.
- Lead the technical design and implementation of solutions that support complex business requirements and high transaction volumes.
- Partner with product managers, quality engineers, and architects to define requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Establish and influence technical direction, architecture, design patterns, and engineering standards.
- Identify and resolve performance, scalability, and reliability concerns.
- Deliver software through automated build, testing, and continuous delivery processes.
- Communicate technical plans and architectural decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and coaching to other engineers.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and AI-enabled development tools to improve developer effectiveness.
