Requirements
- 6+ years building production software
- Real strength in TypeScript and React or equivalent modern web UI experience
- Familiarity with component-driven UIs, typed APIs, monorepos, and automated testing
- Comfort working outside primary stack and following problems across codebases and services
- Clear communication skills with both engineers and customers
- Bias to bring ideas and spot opportunities proactively
- Experience designing and maintaining third-party API integrations
- Strong taste in design and UX, particularly in flows where drop-off matters
- Cloud experience with Azure or AWS
- Mindset oriented towards reliability, security, compliance, and ambiguity
- AI-forward mindset using AI daily for coding and review
Responsibilities
- Design and build the embedded experiences partners integrate: enrolment, plan selection, quotes, dependants and renewals, plus the component and SDK layer behind them
- Work across the full stack, from React and TypeScript through to backend services and APIs
- Join client and partner calls where it helps and work directly with customers and partner engineering teams
- Proactively shape the roadmap and contribute ideas
- Own technical architecture, including support for different partners and use cases
- Build and maintain integrations, including partner APIs, webhooks, and theming
- Collaborate closely with Product, Design and forward deployed engineers
- Use AI actively for building, reviewing, and speeding up development
- Improve the stability and observability of ownership, including visibility into integrations
