Requirements
- Production experience with Go as a primary backend language.
- Proficiency in React and TypeScript for user-facing applications.
- Deep knowledge of accessible interface development, specifically Section 508 and WCAG 2.2 AA compliance.
- Experience implementing automated testing throughout application code.
- Solid understanding of PostgreSQL schema design, indexing, and migrations.
- Experience with AWS or equivalent cloud environments.
- Ability to meet requirements for a position of Public Trust and successfully complete a US Government background investigation.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab is preferred.
- Knowledge of infrastructure as code tools like Terraform.
- Experience with progressive delivery practices and observability tools.
Responsibilities
- Develop mobile-first, responsive React and TypeScript interfaces meeting Section 508 and WCAG 2.2 Level AA standards.
- Build and maintain Go services in AWS containers, managed via Kong API gateway and Akamai CDN/WAF.
- Manage PostgreSQL/Aurora databases and implement Redis caching.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive unit through end-to-end automated test suites.
- Manage delivery pipelines using CloudBees Jenkins with trunk-based development and feature-flagged releases.
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotations for live public systems.
- Implement observability via OpenTelemetry, New Relic, and Splunk, and resolve security findings from SonarQube, Snyk, and JFrog Xray.
