Requirements
- 8+ years of experience managing Fraud Operations in a fast-paced environment, preferably in financial services.
- Experience scaling operations in fintech, payments, banking, or BNPL.
- Expertise in card disputes, chargebacks, Reg Z, Reg E, and card network rules.
- Experience leading and mentoring teams.
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision making capabilities.
- Knowledge of fraud detection technologies, data analytics, and machine learning models.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Customer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop managers responsible for Fraud Operations and Disputes Operations.
- Define and execute operational strategy for fraud investigations and disputes management.
- Partner cross-functionally with Fraud Strategy, Compliance, Product, and Finance teams.
- Oversee fraud investigation processes, tooling, staffing, and service level performance.
- Provide leadership for customer disputes and chargeback operations to ensure timely and compliant resolution.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives, including automation, process optimization, and tooling.
- Maintain policies, procedures, and operational controls to support effective fraud management.
- Own performance metrics including service levels, fraud loss mitigation, and recovery rates.
