Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience working in an agile, multidisciplinary team environment.
- Experience designing and building medium to large-scale systems on Cloud platforms.
- Proficiency in designing and implementing production-grade, cloud-native microservices.
- Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot.
- Experience with containerized deployment patterns.
- Experience with RESTful APIs.
- Proficiency with relational databases, specifically Postgres, using JDBC and Hibernate.
- Experience with DevOps, specifically Jenkins CI/CD.
- Experience utilizing AWS cloud-native services and data engineering.
- Ability to think strategically around trade-offs and short-term vs. long-term benefits.
Responsibilities
- Design, review, and build well-crafted software with fellow Nava engineers.
- Collaborate with government partners and contractors to architect, implement, and deploy new systems and system improvements.
- Ship new features in an agile manner to meet user needs.
- Create tools and processes to automate development, testing, and production workflows.
- Write and review technical documentation and perform code reviews.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to support production systems and investigate issues.
- Engage in hiring activities such as referrals and interviews.
