Requirements
- Hands-on experience with data systems, including SQL databases, data pipelines, and data warehouses.
- Backend engineering experience, including ownership of scalable production systems in a SaaS environment.
- Solid understanding of distributed systems concepts and cloud infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience with Node.js and/or Python.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, GCP preferred (AWS experience acceptable).
- Experience working effectively in a startup or fast-moving, resource-constrained environment.
- Familiarity with security and compliance considerations in production systems.
- Experience using automation and AI-driven tools to improve developer productivity.
- Ability to break down complex problems and execute within a defined scope.
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively within a cross-functional team.
- Clear communication skills in technical discussions.
Responsibilities
- Design and build backend services and systems that support LearnLux’s enterprise SaaS platform.
- Design and work with data systems, including SQL databases, pipelines, and data warehouses.
- Run parallel AI-assisted coding sessions, refining plans while shipping across multiple threads.
- Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure for reliability and performance, primarily on GCP.
- Apply strong engineering fundamentals to ensure systems are secure, reliable, compliant, and scalable.
- Work with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Pulumi or Terraform.
- Collaborate with product, design, and data teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Drive engineering efficiency through automation and AI-driven workflows.
- Support global performance, reliability, and operational excellence.
