Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of full-time experience applying analytical processes on IT projects within the last 10 years.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in business systems analysis and design within the last 10 years.
- Bachelor’s degree (additional experience may be substituted year-for-year).
- Valid Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) certification from the IIBA (or equivalent).
- Minimum 2 years of experience supporting CDT PAL Stage 2-4 projects and large system implementations.
- Minimum 2 years of experience preparing documentation for CDT Stage Gate Reviews.
- Minimum 1 year of experience with Accela Civic Platform or Accela licensing and enforcement modules.
- Ability to provide client/user end reference contact information upon request.
Responsibilities
- Define functional and technical business requirements.
- Conduct system impact and gap analyses, recommending alternative solutions.
- Collaborate with client programs to streamline business processes and define stakeholder engagement.
- Manage project documentation through California Department of Technology (CDT) PAL stages 2-4.
- Create epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Develop data conversion and migration plans and perform technical complexity assessments.
- Conduct meetings including Scrum ceremonies and JAD sessions.
