Requirements
- 5+ years as a backend or platform engineer (software developer or data engineer)
- Strong expertise in Java
- Experience building distributed systems at scale
- Strong experience with event-driven architectures
- Hands-on with stream processing or messaging systems (Apache Beam, Spark, Flink, Kafka, or queues/streams/brokers)
- Strong data modeling and schema design skills
- Experience designing scalable APIs and backend services
- Cloud-native architecture experience (GCP preferred)
- Experience designing multi-tenant SaaS platforms
- Strong understanding of system reliability, fault tolerance, and observability
- Proven ability to drive architectural decisions and technical initiatives
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Advanced English level
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and evolve core platform services, data models, and APIs
- Build reliable, replayable, event-driven data and processing pipelines at scale
- Drive architectural decisions on scalability, resiliency, security, and operability
- Design delivery mechanisms and integrations for downstream consumers
- Implement data governance, lineage, auditability, and regulatory compliance
- Support multi-tenant isolation and regional data residency
- Partner with product and engineering to define platform capabilities and roadmap
- Support customer migrations from legacy systems into the new platform
- Mentor engineers and contribute to technical leadership across the team
- Ensure reliability, performance, observability, and operational excellence
