Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in infrastructure, platform, DevOps, or SRE engineering.
- Strong background in software engineering with production coding experience in Go or Python.
- Demonstrated Kubernetes experience at a meaningful production scale.
- Experience with cloud cost or efficiency optimisation on AWS or GCP.
- Direct experience running high-scale, high-load production systems.
- Strong understanding of cloud networking, compute, storage, and IAM.
- Active use of AI tooling in engineering workflows.
- Ability to own infrastructure decisions independently in a small team environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate infrastructure for high-scale real-time systems handling millions of concurrent connections.
- Drive Kubernetes work end-to-end including cluster architecture and workload design.
- Contribute to the AWS-to-GCP migration by re-architecting workloads for cost and performance.
- Own cost and efficiency optimisation across cloud infrastructure.
- Write production Go and Python for internal services and platform tooling.
- Lead post-migration tuning and capacity planning.
- Partner with engineering teams on system design, reliability targets, and tradeoffs.
- Participate in on-call, incident response, and root cause analysis.
