Requirements
- 2–4 years of WordPress development experience.
- Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Expertise in Elementor and Advanced Custom Fields (ACF).
- Solid understanding of WordPress core, plugins, and the WordPress REST API.
- Knowledge of Git version control.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and performance optimization techniques.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously.
- Experience with AI coding tools such as Cursor or GitHub Copilot is highly valued.
- Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Build, update, and maintain custom WordPress themes, plugins, and site functionality.
- Translate design specs into polished, pixel-perfect front-end experiences across all devices.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and optimize site speed, basic SEO, and security protocols.
- Partner with Marketing, Engineering, Product Management, and Design teams to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Participate in peer code reviews and maintain documentation and internal coding standards.
- Monitor trends and propose improvements to site functionality, speed, and scalability.
