Requirements
- Experience supporting SAP functional implementations, sustainment, or modernization efforts.
- Functional knowledge of hazardous materials, Dangerous Goods, regulated materials, or environmental health and safety processes within SAP.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA and/or related SAP logistics capabilities.
- Understanding of material master data and its relationship to logistics, warehousing, transportation, and supply chain processes.
- Experience gathering business requirements and translating requirements into SAP functional designs and system configurations.
- Experience supporting functional testing, defect management, and system implementation activities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with functional, technical, business, and customer stakeholders.
- 10% Travel every 12 weeks to Scott Air Force Base.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a functional subject matter expert for SAP HAZMAT and Dangerous Goods-related business processes within the SAP S/4HANA environment.
- Analyze customer and program requirements related to hazardous material identification, classification, storage, handling, movement, transportation, and reporting.
- Support configuration and functional design of SAP capabilities used to manage hazardous and regulated materials.
- Maintain and validate HAZMAT-related master data, classifications, attributes, and regulatory information.
- Support integration of HAZMAT requirements across SAP functional areas, including Materials Management (MM), Transportation Management (TM), Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), and Sales and Distribution (SD).
- Participate in system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), regression testing, and defect resolution.
- Develop functional specifications, process flows, configuration documentation, and system design documentation.
