Requirements
- Senior-level experience in product design, UX/UI design, interaction design, or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated experience designing end-to-end digital product experiences, including user flows and interaction models.
- Experience translating ambiguous business or technical requirements into clear product solutions.
- Strong proficiency with prototyping and interactive design tools, specifically Figma or comparable platforms.
- Ability to create prototypes representing realistic user flows, system behaviors, conditional logic, and edge cases.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners and executive-level stakeholders.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate design rationale and trade-offs.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in complex and ambiguous problem spaces.
- Experience working with design systems and contributing to their evolution.
- Ability to incorporate AI-assisted design and prototyping tools into product workflows.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and provide guidance to less-experienced designers.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. national security clearance.
Responsibilities
- Partner cross-functionally with Product Management, Engineering, and stakeholders to define problem spaces and translate requirements into experience strategies.
- Lead end-to-end product design across user journeys, interaction models, and high-fidelity interfaces.
- Facilitate design thinking workshops, ideation sessions, and design sprints to build alignment.
- Develop high-fidelity interactive prototypes using Figma and AI-assisted or no-code tools to validate product concepts.
- Create prototypes that demonstrate realistic user flows, conditional logic, system behaviors, and edge cases.
- Leverage AI-assisted design workflows to improve design-system alignment and accelerate exploration.
- Collaborate with Engineering to ensure designs are technically grounded and implementation-ready.
- Mentor and support mid-level and junior designers in design and prototyping methods.
- Present design rationale, trade-offs, and constraints to clients, stakeholders, and executive leadership.
