Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of professional software development, including enterprise-scale production experience.
- Expert-level hands-on experience with C# and modern .NET (e.g., .NET 8, 9, 10).
- Strong proficiency in designing RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
- Proven experience developing and operating applications in AWS.
- Strong production experience with Docker and Kubernetes (including Rancher).
- Experience developing event-driven applications using RabbitMQ or AWS SQS.
- Strong relational database development skills with PostgreSQL and AWS RDS.
- Experience using AI-assisted development and code-generation tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot).
- Experience with SonarQube or similar static analysis tools.
- Proficiency with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and DevSecOps.
- Understanding of secure software development practices for Federal environments.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain microservices and RESTful APIs using C# and .NET.
- Build and support cloud-native applications in AWS, including secure environments like AWS GovCloud.
- Develop asynchronous and event-driven solutions using RabbitMQ and AWS SQS.
- Optimize data access and persistence solutions using PostgreSQL and AWS RDS.
- Manage containerized applications via Docker and Kubernetes.
- Review AI-generated code to validate security, quality, performance, and compliance.
- Collaborate with technical leadership to set standards and mentor other developers.
- Monitor production health and provide after-hours support for releases and incidents.
