Requirements
- Expertise in cloud platform security (e.g., AWS), multi-cloud networks, and designing cloud-agnostic systems.
- Familiarity with container and orchestration security.
- Familiarity with authentication and authorization mechanisms.
- Familiarity with internet and web security fundamentals (WAFs, TLS, PKI, DNS security).
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Go preferred).
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tooling (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
- Knowledge of operating system internals and security mechanisms.
- Knowledge of common networking protocols.
- Experience in infrastructure security, security operations, threat modeling, or digital forensics and incident response.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an asynchronous environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and build security controls across diverse layers including cloud platforms, OS, Kubernetes, networks, and CI/CD.
- Improve security properties by identifying and implementing features, bug fixes, and defense-in-depth measures.
- Audit infrastructure for technical security weaknesses and drive mitigations to resolution.
- Support engineering decisions through threat modeling and security analysis.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert during security incidents, focusing on infrastructure-level containment and remediation.
