Requirements
- Completed higher education or a technology degree in Information Technology or a related field.
- Solid knowledge of software testing concepts and quality strategies throughout the development lifecycle.
- Ability to interpret requirements and acceptance criteria for test scenario development.
- Practical experience with BDD, Cucumber, and Cypress for automated UI testing.
- Proficiency in JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
- Experience with functional, regression, exploratory, and manual testing practices.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies, specifically Scrum.
- Familiarity with Git and version control practices.
- Familiarity with AI tools applied to software development and QA.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a continuous-improvement mindset.
Responsibilities
- Participate in requirements analysis and refinement to identify business rules, risks, and acceptance criteria.
- Translate requirements and acceptance criteria into structured test scenarios using BDD practices.
- Define test strategies, determining the balance between manual and automated testing.
- Develop, maintain, and improve automated UI tests using Cypress and Cucumber.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and monitor execution results.
- Perform functional, regression, and exploratory manual testing for new features.
- Investigate test failures to identify root causes and collaborate with developers for resolution.
- Use AI-powered tools for test scenario creation, refactoring, and failure analysis.
- Promote shared ownership of quality by collaborating with Developers, Product Owners, and UX professionals.
