Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Java development (OOP, data structures, Spring/Spring Boot).
- Hands-on MuleSoft experience with API-led connectivity.
- Proficiency in DataWeave for complex data transformations.
- Strong understanding of integration patterns across distributed systems (pub/sub, request/reply, aggregator, scatter-gather).
- Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs and SOAP web services.
- Proficiency with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
- Experience with Git for version control.
- Solid understanding of API governance and security best practices (OAuth, JWT, API Key management).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Ability to work remotely from LatAm (Mexico, Costa Rica, Colombia, Peru, Ecuador, or Brazil) aligned to PST hours.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy APIs and integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (API Manager, Runtime Manager, Exchange, Design Center).
- Implement complex data transformations, routing, and orchestration logic using DataWeave, Mule Expressions, and custom Java components.
- Develop and maintain custom Java applications and standalone microservices using Spring Boot.
- Implement API security best practices, including OAuth, JWT, and API Key management.
- Contribute to API design standards, documentation, and governance within Anypoint Exchange.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize integration solutions for performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with data scientists and product teams on end-to-end AI integration solutions.
