Requirements
- Strong backend fundamentals and production-grade coding experience (Go preferred).
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes internals.
- Experience working with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Proven experience with large-scale distributed systems.
- Clear English communication skills.
- Collaborative, self-directed work style.
- Bias toward action and ownership.
- Deep knowledge of EKS, GKE, or AKS internals (preferred).
- Low-level Linux experience: process internals, networking (NAT, iptables, conntrack, SDN), filesystems, and storage (preferred).
- Experience with container runtimes (CRI-O, runc, containerd) or CRIU (preferred).
- Experience with AI coding agents and agentic development workflows (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate backend services, Kubernetes operators, and controllers in Go across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
- Solve complex infrastructure-layer problems involving networking, scheduling, storage, compute, or container runtime internals.
- Build and maintain high-throughput gRPC and REST services along with async orchestration workflows.
- Shape public and internal APIs to improve platform functionality.
- Leverage and improve AI-powered development workflows within the engineering team.
- Participate in design reviews, code reviews, on-call rotations, and customer deep-dives.
